Zarif, FM spokesman slam Paris terrorist attacks

TEHRAN, Nov. 14 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and FM Spokesman Hossain Jaberi Ansari condemned the deadly terrorist attacks of Paris in separate messages.

Mohammad Javad Zarif, condemned the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday evening and expressed condolences to the government and people of France.

He expressed sympathy with the families of the victims and once again underlined the principled policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the fight against terrorism. 

Zarif asserted that Paris event once again proved that the terrorism and extremism are global threats, and combating it requires global cooperation.

In separate message, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari also strongly condemned the bloody attacks that killed dozens of innocent people in Paris on Friday.

Expressing condolences to the government and people of Paris, Ansari said the Islamic Republic of Iran, underlining the alienation of the perpetrators of terrorism from the true spirit of Islam, all divine religions and human ethics, once again emphasizes the need for an international determination and will to fight against terrorism.

He said Iran will continue its constant and clear policy in the fight against terrorism and extremism and is ready to cooperate with other countries on the issue.
